The annual Children’s Culture Week will spread around Finland during the third week of May. This year, the Children’s Culture Week will be celebrated from 13 to 19 May 2024 and enjoy a rich programme of children’s culture events all over Finland.
The Children’s Culture Week is a celebration for all. You can celebrate the week by taking part in a programme in your local area or by celebrating it in your own way at school, day care, library, art museum, hobby or home.
The official programme is produced by the members of the Association of Finnish Children’s Culture Centres and their partners. During the week, you can try your hand at escape games, enjoy exhibitions and performances, and let your creativity run wild in workshops. The content ranges from circus to word arts and from dance to theatre. The programme is aimed at children, young people and families. Most of the events are free of charge.
Children’s culture is important and relevant today and in the future, so we invite you to join us in celebrating children’s culture!
