Youtube

The Website uses a nocookie solution for embedded YouTube videos, which means that user data is transferred to the YouTube service when the video is viewed.

NEWSLETTER REGISTER

Purpose of the newsletter register

The purpose of processing personal data is to enable communication and information with bodies, professionals and stakeholders working in the field of arts and culture for children and young people. The register is also used to promote events, webinars and projects.

Contents of the register

The register contains electronic records of subscribers to the newsletter. In addition, the names and contact details of the contact persons of the Cultural Centres are also stored electronically in the register. The register does not contain data on children or young people.

Data processed: e-mail address

The personal data in the register are obtained from the data subject.

Grounds for processing personal data and rights of the data subject

The basis for processing is the legitimate interest of the controller. The register only processes data such as address data, where the risks associated with the processing are low. The register will not be used as a basis for automated decision-making.

The data subject has the right to be informed of the information registered about him or her. In addition, the data subject has the right to have inaccurate data corrected and the right to request the deletion of his or her personal data. The data subject always has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (the Data Protection Officer).

Transfer and disclosure of personal data

Personal data are processed on behalf of the controller and in accordance with the instructions of the controller by – the Communications Coordinator and the Executive Director of the Association of Finnish Children’s Cultural Centres.

The controller does not transfer or disclose data for other purposes or outside the EU.

Storage and protection of personal data

The data in the register is stored in the Mailchimp newsletter service. E-mail addresses are kept in the register as long as the data subject is an active recipient of the newsletter. Access to the register requires a password. Only those whose work requires it may process the data.

REGISTER OF PARTICIPANTS IN EVENTS

The purpose of processing personal data is to enable communication and information with the bodies, professionals and stakeholders working with the project on arts and culture for children and young people and/or the Finnish model of leisure activities. The register is also used for the marketing of events and webinars and to provide information about the projects.

The personal data in the register is obtained from the data subject when he or she registers for an event or webinar.

Right of access

You have the right to check the personal data we hold about you. If you find any inaccuracies or omissions in your data, you can ask us to correct or complete the data.

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time if you believe that we have unlawfully processed your personal data or that we are not entitled to process your personal data.

Direct marketing ban

You have the right to object at any time to us using your data for direct marketing. We will never sell or otherwise disclose your personal data to other parties to enable them to target you with direct marketing.

Right to transfer your data from one system to another

If the automated processing of your personal data is based on consent or contract, you have the right to receive the personal data you provide to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and the right to transfer that data to another controller.

Right to erasure

If you consider that the processing of some of the data concerning you is not necessary for the purposes of our tasks, you have the right to ask us to delete the data in question. We will process your request, after which we will either delete your data or provide you with a reasoned justification why the data cannot be deleted. If you disagree with our decision, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Ombudsman.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Ombudsman if you feel that we are in breach of applicable data protection law when we process your personal data.
