The Association of Finnish Children’s Cultural Centers

The week is coordinated by the Association of Finnish Children’s Cultural Centres, which aims to ensure that every child and young person has equal opportunities to participate in high-quality artistic and cultural activities that they enjoy and to produce their own artistic content. The 37 members of the association produce accessible children’s culture in different parts of Finland, thus offering children and young people well-being through art and culture.

The Association of Finnish Children’s Cultural Centers advances the operation of professional cultural centres for children and young people in Finland and promotes competence in the field of children’s culture as well as its visibility nationwide. The cultural centres for children have a long tradition of networking and reciprocal support. Since the early days of networking, the personnel of the various centres have met to exchange ideas and develop cooperation in the child culture field nationwide.
